Awesome 'Thor' and 'Green Lantern' Pics Surface!!

New pics from the movies Thor and Green Lantern, from the Entertainment Weekly magazine, have started surfacing online.

Which is pretty cool for us. So no one is complaining. Not. One. Bit.

First off, let's start with that Thor pic that has appeared on SHH Forums that shows both Thor and his father Odin in what may in all probability be Asgard.

See, I like this pic, because it looks natural and not fabricated or stylized like this one. Chris Hemsworth (George Kirk on J.J. Abram's Star Trek), who plays Thor, looks really good in that picture and so does Anthony Hopkins. I just hope the latter's acting will be better that it was in that Wolfman movie. Terrible Not very good.

Now let's look at those Green Lantern pictures that have been posted by ifanboy.

Just click on the pics to take a closer look at Ryan Reynolds (as Hal Jordan/Green Lantern), Blake Lively (as Carol Ferris), Tim Robbins (as Senator Hammond), Angela Basset (as Dr. Amanda Waller), and Peter Sarsgaard (as Hector Hammond, whom I almost didn't recognize!!).

I need to interject here that I like Ryan Reynolds as an actor. He's a sympathetic guy and mostly everyone likes him. And since that not so great Blade: Trinity movie - of which he was the best thing as Hannibal King - Reynolds has got action man stamped all over the face. So him as Hal Jordan/Green Lantern? I'm totally buying and liking it. At least I like those pics!

As for Blake Lively, her casting has always puzzled me. I hope she'll surprise me.
