1st behind-the-scenes look at Ron D. Moore's Outlander features brand new scenes + more Claire and Jamie

Starz has released the very first behind-the-scenes look at Ronald D. Moore's (Battlestar Galactica) upcoming time-traveling series Outlander.

The new video not only reveals some brand new scenes; it also features interviews with some of the main cast (including Sam Heughan, Caitriona Balfe, Lotte Verbeek and Graham McTavish) as well as with Moore and the book series' author, Diana Gabaldon.

Another day, another one of those fantastic "Speak Outlander" lessons from Starz. This time, the word is "Rhenish," which is the favorite wine of both Colum MacKenzie (Gary Lewis) and Claire Fraser (Caitriona Balfe).

This time, it's Annette Badland, who plays Mrs. Fitz (short for FitzGibbons), who is the one delivering the lesson, with a little help from Gary Lewis and Graham McTavish who plays Colum's brother Dougal.

Starz has released some new production stills from its upcoming time -traveling drama series Outlander from Battlestar Galactica's Ron D. Moore, as well as some behind-the-scenes pics.

One is of the amazing location site standing in for Castle Leoch from Diana Gabaldon's wildly popular books. A truly beautiful, atmospheric picture.

Starz has released a brand new official photo from Ron D. Moore's upcoming time traveling series Outlander  showing Claire (Caitriona Balfe) at a Castle Leoch banquet in company of Colum MacKenzie (Gary Lewis), his brother Dougal (The Hobbit's Graham MacTavish) and Colum's wife Letitia (Aislin McGuckin).

WATCH Sam Heughan teach us how to say "Mo Nighean Donn" in third awesome "How to Speak Outlander" lesson

Starz has released its third "How to Speak Outlander" lesson. The new term? "Mo Nighean Donn," which means "My brown-haired lass."

This is the term of endearment Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) uses for Claire (Caitriona Balfe) in Diana Gabaldon's first two Outlander novels: Outlander and Dragonfly in Amber.

Once again the lesson is given by Gaelic expert Adhamh O Broin, and spoken by Sam Heughan. This time, he also has a bit of, erm "help" from his co-stars Gary Lewis (Colum MacKenzie) and Graham McTavish (Dougal Mackenzie).
