Who will play Peter Parker's new love interest in the new Spider-Man movie?

The search for Peter Parker’s a.k.a. Spider-Man’s love interest is still ongoing weeks after Andrew Garfield was cast in the role. However it seems to have narrowed down to a few select actresses.

We know that Andrew Garfield has been cast as Peter Parker/ Spider-Man in the rebooted version of the movie, but actor Josh Hutcherson (Journey to the Center of the Earth) may have been a close finalist for the role.

Latino Review has posted the video of Hutcherson's fight audition. According to them "up and coming fight choreographer Larnell Stovall from UNDISPUTED 3 choreographed the gem below."

This is one video to make anyone go into dream mode and to wonder what it could have been (or could be) if Josh Hutcherson had won the role.

Now it makes wonder even more what Andrew Garfield will do with it.

Andrew Garfield cast as Spider-Man/Peter Parker - What do You Think?

So, the new Spider-Man has been cast and Peter Parker is coming back in the form of 26 year old British actor Andrew Garfield (The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus).

Garfield has beaten out the likes of Jamie Bell (Billy Elliot, Jumper), Josh Hutcherson (Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant); Alden Ehrenreich; Frank Dillane, Aaron Johnson (Kick Ass) and Anton Yelchin (Star Trek) for the coveted role.
